Premier League: Aston Villa v Wolves (Sat, 12:45)

HT/FT W/W: Aston Villa won in midweek to move three points off fourth with a game in hand and remain unbeaten in 2010. While they’ve been level at half-time in 10 of their last 11 matches they’ve scored before the break in four of their last six and they’ve won 10 of their last 12 home matches against bottom-six teams without defeat and with nine W/Ws and five wins by three clear goals. Wolves have lost eight of their 11 away games this season excluding against teams currently in the bottom six, with six L/L doubles, five defeats to-nil, and five defeats by two or more goals.


Premier League: Arsenal v West Ham (Sat, 17:30)

Asian handicap Home -2: Arsenal have won 16 of their last 20 home matches with 13 W/Ws, 12 won-both-halves, and 12 wins by two-clear goals (eight by three or more). Moreover, they’re unbeaten since 2007/08 at home against bottom-half teams with 23 wins in 25 games including 11 wins in the last 12 with 10 W/Ws (all won-both-halves), 11 wins by two-clear goals and six by three or more. West Ham have not won in 14 away games with nine defeats and since 2007/08 have lost seven of 10 winless trips to Big Four teams with five L/Ls (three lost both halves), six defeats by two-clear goals and four by three or more.


Premier League: Manchester United v Liverpool (Sun, 13:30)

Win to nil: Man Utd have won their last seven home matches with a goals difference of +26 as they’ve scored at least three times in each game whilst not conceding once. In fact Utd have won 21 of 26 home matches against top-half teams since 2007/08 with 13 wins-to-nil, including three wins-to-nil (W5-D1-L1) against the Big Four. Moreover, while they’ve lost their last three meetings with Liverpool they’ve won four of their five home matches against them since 2004/05 with three wins-to-nil. Liverpool have scored just two goals in their last eight away games and have suffered five defeats without scoring in their last 12 away matches including both trips to Big Four teams this season.


Premier League: Blackburn v Chelsea (Sun, 16:00)

Asian handicap Home +1: Blackburn have won their last four home games and have lost only one of their last 13 home matches (W8-D4-L1). Moreover, they’ve lost only one of their last nine home games against top-half teams (W3-D5-L1). Moreover, they’ve avoided defeat in four of nine home games against Big Four teams since 2007/08. Chelsea have won only four of their last 11 away matches (W4-D3-L4) including just one of their last five trips to middle-third teams while since 2007/08 they’ve won only 52% of 23 matches away at middle-third sides. Moreover, since 2004/05 middle-third teams have lost only 55% of home matches against Big Four sides, with only 31% of matches lost by two or more goals.


SPL: Hearts v Aberdeen (Sat, 12:15)

Home Win: Hearts have won five of their last six home matches and four of their last seven games hosting top-half non-Big Two teams. Hibernian, meanwhile, have been beaten in four of their last five on the road and also in three of their last five games at top-half non-Big Two sides.
