Athletic Bilbao's Fernando Llorente

Deportivo v Tenerife (Sat, 17:00)

Asian handicap (Home -1): Deportivo have gained full-points from 55% (17/31) of their home matches since the start of last season and also in three of their last four. Similarly, they have won eight of their last 14 games hosting bottom-six sides. Promoted Tenerife remain in the relegation zone largely due to their terrible away form. The visitors have lost nine of 11 winless games on the road this term and five of their defeats have been by two clear goals which has included their two matches at top-six opposition.

Almeria v Barcelona (Sat, 19:00)

HT outcome (Lay Away Win): Almeria come into this match in good from having gained seven points from their last three home fixtures, however teams on similar such three-game form have won just 26% (9/26) of their games hosting either of the Big Two since 2004/05, although they have been behind at the break in only 15 (43%) of the matches. Furthermore, Almeria have gone W1-D2-L1 at half-time in their last four home fixtures against the Big Two. Barcelona have been in-front at the interval in just a third (3/9) of their recent away matches (HT W3-D5-L1).

Real Madrid v Sevilla (Sat, 21:00)

HT/FT (W/W): Real Madrid have won all of their last 12 home matches and their past seven victories have come courtesy of the W/W double result. Further, they have recorded W/Ws in five of their last eight home fixtures against top-six sides. Sevilla have been beaten in three of their last four on the road and also in four of their last five games at either of the Big Two (two L/Ls).

Ath. Bilbao v Valladolid (Sun, 18:00)

HT/FT (W/W): Athletic Bilbao have won all of their last four home matches with three W/Ws, which included a 1-0 victory over Real Madrid. Impressively, they are undefeated in 17 games hosting bottom-six sides and they have won all of their last five such games with four W/Ws. Valladolid are winless in nine on the road with four L/Ls. They have also seen L/Ls in four of their last eight games at top-half non-Big Two teams.

Real Zaragoza v Atletico Madrid (Sun, 20:00)

Over/Under (+2.5 goals): Seven of promoted Real Zaragoza’s 11 (64%) home matches this season have featured at least three goals, which has included four of their five games against middle-third teams. Likewise, 55% (17/31) of Atletico Madrid’s away fixtures since the start of last term have settled the +2.5 goals market as have half (6/12) of their recent games at bottom-six teams.
