Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund v Hannover 96 (Sat, 14:30) - Result: 4-1 (HT 1-0)

HT/FT: Dortmund have won five of their last seven home matches and will be looking to bounce back after three defeats in-a-row against tricky opposition. Before that they’d been 12 games unbeaten overall with nine wins of which eight were W/W doubles. Moreover, they’re unbeaten since 2007/08 when hosting bottom-six teams with 10 wins from 14 games and seven W/Ws. Hannover’s troubles continue, as they’ve not won in 11 and lost all of their last seven games – with six L/Ls. Furthermore, they’ve lost six of their last seven away (five L/Ls) and not won in nine trips to top-six teams with six defeats and five L/Ls.

Recommendation: Borussia Dortmund W/W 2.34, Betfair

Preston have lost nine of their last 13 away games with six L/Ls, including losing six of their last seven away – beating bottom-placed Peterborough in the other match. Moreover, they’ve lost six of their last seven trips to top-half teams with four L/Ls.

Recommendation: Newcastle W/W 2.50, Betfair

League One: Colchester v Oldham (Sat, 15:00) - Result: 1-0 (HT 0-0)

Further, their last three games against top-six sides have also been L/Ls.

Recommendation: Colchester W/W 2.80, Betfair

Championship:  Nottm Forest v Middlesbrough (Sat, 15:00) - Result: 1-0

Moreover they’ve won six of their last 10 home games against teams placed 5th-13th whilst losing only once. Middlesbrough have lost four of their last six away matches including their last three trips to top-half teams.

Recommendation: +2.5 goals 2.00, Betfair

League Two: Rochdale v Dag & Red (Sat, 15:00) - Result: 3-1

HT/FT: Rochdale have gained maximum points from five of their last six home matches and each of the victories have come courtesy of the W/W double result. Ligue 1: St Etienne v Montpellier (Sat, 18:00) - Result: 1-0

Win to nil: St Etienne won their last home game, but before that had failed to score in six matches at home – losing three times – and they’ve lost four of their 10 home games against top-six teams without scoring since the start of last season (W3-D3-L4). All five of St Etienne’s home defeats this term have been to nil. Montpellier have won their last five consecutive matches without conceding and have won half their 12 away matches this season including both trips to bottom-six teams. Similarly, they have gained full-points from eight of nine unbeaten games hosting top-six opposition under Jose Mourinho with four W/Ws. Although Sampdoria have won their last two away fixtures, at Siena and Udinese, they had previously lost their last six on the road.
