Serie A: AC Milan v Udinese (Fri, 19:45)

+2.5 goals: AC Milan’s relatively poor run of form (W0-D2-L1) has seen them slip down to third in the Serie A table below resurgent Roma. Half (11/22) of the hosts league fixtures this term have settled the +2.5 goals market as have two-thirds (10/15) of their home matches when they have conceded since the start of last season. A Toto Di Natale hat-trick gave Udinese a comfortable victory over Champions League hopefuls Napoli last weekend. The visitors have netted in 10 of their 13 matches at Big Four teams since 2006/07 and six of the games have seen at least three goals.

 

Bundesliga: Bayern Munich v Dortmund (Sat, 17:30)

Both teams to score: Both teams have scored in seven of Bayern’s 11 home games this season, and further back in 20 of their 28 at home since the start of last season. Moreover, both teams have netted in 13 of their 18 home games against top-six teams since 2006/07. Dortmund have seen both sides score in nine of their 10 away games this season, as well as in seven of their last nine trips to Big Three teams.

 

Serie A: Sampdoria v Fiorentina (Sat, 19:45)

Match outcome: Sampdoria are now undefeated in 20 home fixtures having recorded 10 wins in the process. Over a longer period, they have won half (11/22) of their games hosting middle-third opposition. Fiorentina have won only one of their last five on the road (W1-D1-L3) and they have been beaten in eight of 10 winless trips to top-six sides.

 

Bundesliga: Frankfurt v Freiburg (Sun, 16:30)

HT/FT: Frankfurt have won four of their last seven home games and half their last eight overall whilst losing only once. Moreover, they’ve won nine of 16 home matches against bottom-six teams since 2007/08 (six W/Ws), as well as half their eight hosting promoted teams in this time, all by the W/W double. Freiburg have lost three in-a-row on the road and are winless in seven, while they have suffered nine defeats in their last 14 matches – all by the L/L double. Moreover, they’ve suffered four L/Ls in their five trips to top-half non-Big Three teams. Since 2004/05, teams placed 5th-9th hosting bottom-six sides on a three-match away losing streak have won 10 of 13 games with eight W/Ws.

 

Serie A: Napoli v Inter (Sun, 19:45)

HT outcome: Napoli haven’t conceded a home first half goal in six games, but they have only netted once themselves in the same period. Since the start of last season, the hosts have gone into the break level in 57% (17/30) of their home fixtures. Inter Milan have drawn the opening 45 minutes of nine of their last 15 away matches and the same has been true in three of their last five trips to top-six opponents.
